Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (SDS), Dust-Free™ Ultrapure is an innovative pellet form of SDS designed to prevent aerosolized dust when preparing SDS solutions. Dust inhalation from standard grade SDS can lead to coughing, shortness of breath, and nasal passage irritation. Our R&D team has shown Dust-Free™ SDS dissolves 50% faster than powder SDS.
Dust-Free™ SDS coats proteins and DNA giving them a negative charge allowing travel towards the anode during gel electrophoresis. The product is ≥99.5% pure.
