Lysing Matrix S, 2 mL Tube contains six (6) 1/8" (3.175 mm) diameter stainless steel beads. Lysing Matrix S tubes have clear caps. Will not bind nucleic acids.
Application Notes
Metal Bead Lysing Matrix is used to break hard/brittle samples. Specialty applications include RNA and protein extraction from difficult samples where lysis by impaction only is preferable with minimal amounts of mechanical shearing.
