Opis
Produkt przeznaczony wyłącznie do badań. Nie nadaje się do spożycia. Więcej informacji na stronie producenta www.toku-e.com
Abscisic acid is a plant hormone involved in many cellular processes such as stomatal closure, water and ion uptake control, leaf abscission and senescence.
TOKU-E offers two forms of ABA: (±)-cis,trans-Abscisic acid (synthetic) (A068) and (+)-Abscisic acid (natural) (A153).
Molecular Formula: C15H20O4
Molecular Weight: 264.32
Storage Conditions: -20°C
Plant Biology Applications
S-ABA is the naturally occurring form of the hormone abscisic acid. Compared with other hormones the effects of abscisic acid are multifaceted and can antagonize or modify the effects of other hormones. In embryo development and maturation, abscisic acid has shown to regulate gene expression (George et al., 2008). In tissue culture ABA has shown a double effect on callus growth: at low concentrations ABA shows a positive effect on callus growth while higher concentrations demonstrate inhibitory callus growth effects (George et al., 2008).
