Opis
Pasteurized whole milk; spray dried. Typical water content for whole milk before spray drying is 88%. The spray drying of the milk is done by first condensing the milk by evaporation. The condensed milk is then atomized and passed through a hot air stream (approximately 220 °C) in a drying tower. The droplets of milk then fall in a powdered form. The lactose typically dries as an amporphous form but may crystallize depending on exposure to humidity.
