Applications
The NEW gelONE-XE is a stand-alone gel documentation system which replaces both the gelONE and the gelONEPLUS previously offered in our range.
It comes with a powerful New Window Operating system that allows smoother running of the software and image acquisition. It is also now possible to store the images directly on the system thanks to the 80gb hard drive internal memory.
The new touchscreen PC comes with 5 USB connectivity ports which can connect directly to a printer, mouse or keypad if desired.
It is also now possible to network through a LAN port without the requirement of the optional USB-Dongle saving on this cost. The enhanced camera is now able to capture stain free gel images as standard (before only the gelONEPLUS was suitable to this application).
The higher sensitivity lens and camera sensor on the gelONE-XE also provide higher resolution images compared to its predecessors.
The gelONE XE system has been designed for stain free applications, it also supports multiple applications, including DNA/RNA gel imaging such as EtBr, SYBR Green and visible stained gels, i.e. Coomassie Blue and silver stain. The geneQUANT advanced image analysis package is included with the system license free.
